Start Lights

Time your start like a pro!

Start Lights is the evolution of my previous app Traffic Lights.
Now the start lights are 3D lights!
The 3D lights position on the track is shared between drivers on the server.
The process to add a track light is simple :
- go to the track
- with free cam (F7) navigate to the spot where you want to place the light
- open the app settings, there is a tab "Track light editor".
- Note : if you use the Pure PP filter, curvedscreen script, deactivate it temporarily while creating the light.
- click on "Create Light..."
- just double click where you want to place the light.
- that's it
- the rotation of the light is adjustable
- when you are done just click save
- it creates a file in track extension folder that you can share and is reloaded every time you load the track
- then when you trigger the light, the position will be shared to the driver(s) in the range (default 20m).

The start light is triggered via a control (default keyboard key A, use ExtendedControl to set the control).

The lights are displayed to the near drivers using the app on the server (the range can be adjusted).

A "False Start" mode is also available to help with incident.

Competition Mode :
In competition mode only the server admin and the granted operators can trigger the start lights.

Installation :
Drag and drop the file directly on Content Manager. If you previously used the Traffic Lights app, deactivate it, the app will try to delete it (trash).
