FZC_Cadence is a gigantic Japanese-inspired mountain map for Assetto Corsa.
It features multiple driving experiences: tight and technical mountain roads dedicated to street drifting, a large touge section with long high-speed corners, and a rally/baja area that will be reworked in a future update.
Originally created by ZZPuma for GTA San Andreas, this map has been fully converted and completely reworked for Assetto Corsa with his permission.
Every polygon was rebuilt to ensure smooth driving and proper physics integration.
More than 150,000 trees were placed manually one by one to bring the environment to life and enhance immersion.
Lighting and shaders were redesigned to create a unique atmosphere while keeping the map highly optimized for a wide range of systems.
In total, the project took me about 6–7 months of work, and it’s still not fully finished.
This project is not meant to replicate reality but to capture an imaginative vision of Japanese mountains, inspired by the dreamlike touge culture from the pre-2010 era.
Whether you are here to drift, run touge battles, or just cruise, FZC_Cadence offers a one-of-a-kind experience.
